This week for reading,writing and maths. The Topic for this week was Culture Significance. I enjoyed doing this because i liked making the create because it was easy but really fun seeing the end product.
This week for writing we had to write a persuasive peace. The topic was if Kapa haka is good for you?
Kapa haka is the term for Maori action songs and the groups who perform them. Kapa haka means group and dance.Maori people express there culture by doing kapa haka. In kapa haka you can also do solos. Kapa haka improves lots of te reo and dance moves.
Firstly,Kapa haka can improve your knowledge about maori culture.For example Loads of kids dont have the opportunity to learn maori culture. But kapa haka can teach you te reo and cool dances. Most Schools do kapa haka. I like to do kapa haka because it improves my te reo.
Secondly,Kapa haka improves your confidence.for example in kapa haka there are leaders they need to be loud and proud to lead everyone. If you have confidence you will probably get more opportunities for jobs. Confidence can prevent you from being lonley and having axienty. Another example confedence helps us to be ready for lifes experiences.
Thirdly,kapa haka benefits non-maori students. Not all kids have to be maori to join kapa haka because not everyone is maori but still wants to learn more about their countries culture.for example not all of the All blacks in the team are maori but they still represent New Zeland and they also know how to do the haka.
Kapa haka Improves confidence,benifets non-Maori students and improve confidence. Kapa haka might not be good for you if you dont like performing in front of people or dont like to wear special uniforms.Fun fact about the Maori haka. The Haka performed by the Allblacksis a celebration of life over death. I got the fact from google. I strongly believe that Kapa haka is good for you.

This week for maths we had to find some data and make a graph about our interests around the house. I enjoyed collecting the data and trying different graphs because i have never done that before.
This week for reading we were learning what are point of view is. My favourite activity was to say the purpose from our favourite characters game. I did the video of me playing the game on camera
This week for steam rotation we went to Whaea Tamzon class. We had to make a google slide or google drawing about frogs and how we can stop prevent people from killing frogs or ruining their habitat.
this week and last week for steam rotation. we made paper planes and had to do tests to see what happens when we through it.
