WK6 TM3 writing

 this week for writing we are learning to make paragraphs. The theme for writing was action shots.

My heart was pounding. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a glance of the defender ready to pounce and get the rebound. Oh`! no I don't know what ti do.I hear my team mates screaming , "pass it back!". I go to pass it back but the defender pounces and does a great indecept. The other team passes the netball like a yoyo. The other team's goal shoot is already in the circle. They already got the goal.Game over i wish i was better.

 This weekl we were learning about our identity.

For reading i was learning to inference. My favourite thing was to make the create because it was realy fun drawing it.

Kio ra my name is Grace and there are many aspects to my culture.I am new Zealand European. and Maori.

Maori culture

The Maori are the indigenous Polynesian people of mainland  New Zealand. Maori originated with settlers from eastern Polynesia, who arrived in New Zealand in several waves of waka voyages between roughly 1320 and 1350. My Dad is Maori.

New Zealand European.

European New Zealanders , also known  by the Maori-language word  Pakeha, are New Zealanders  of European descent ...According  to the 2018 New Zealand census, 3,372,708 people (72%) identified as European.  My Mum is New Zealand European. 

T2 WK3 Writing

      Do I agree or disagree with being a water bender.

1.I disagree with being a water bender because i don't like change and not open to adapt to change. I'm not laid back and don't ever like to go with the flow.

2.I think i am a fire bender because i like to fight for what is worth fighting for.I am not very calm and have a lot of energy.I am very passionate and often possess fire personality's.

T2 Week 3 Reading

 This week the theme for reading is bending.We were learning to infrence.

I enjoyed this because it was fun finding out which bender you were.

Writing T2 week 2

This week we were writing about hobbies. 

Netball is a sport played on 1 court with seven players on each team.

One of the worlds famous netball player is Maria Folau. Maria Folau is a retired netball player. she played regularly for the New Zealand national netball,the Silver ferns.. Maria Folau was born in 18 February 1987 (age 34 years) career ended in December  2019.

There are several potions in netball. Goal keeper (GK) the goal keeper is the last line of defence on the netball court,they defend  against the goal shooter and goal attack  to prevent them from scoring a goal. Goal defence is  defending  goal attack. Wing defence is defending wing attack. (centre) there is one centre in each team. centre starts with the ball.
