My minibeast adventure

Zoom i flew through the sky!
The Tiki tour started in Auckland at my house.  Me and Slugfly packed our bags as we wouldnt be coming back home any time soon.  Together we had planned a Tiki Tour to explore cool places in New Zealand.  We had been working on the plan for quite a long time and we decided to just go for it because we were too excited and we didn't want to wait any longer.  The day came and we were so excited to finally be leaving to leave Auckland/Corona Town.
Slugfly didn't understand why everyone had to wear masks.  He was very angry as he liked seeing peoples faces.  I even made him his own customised mask as he had a little face.
We packed leaves and other treats to keep us going.
We zoomed through the air on Slugflys wings that secretly grows really big and glows in the dark. Slugfly didn't want anyone to know about his special powers because he didn't want to get hunted by people and thats how Slugflys family died so tragically.
First stop was Paeroa and we had a photo at the L and P bottle, then we went to Rotorua to visit the mud pools that stank like rotten egg.  We then flew to Taupo to swim at Acacia Bay and jump in the cold lake to cool off.  We took off flying ove the snowy mountains and it was such a  beautiful view.  I said we should take a break in Taihape where we threw the gumboots just like i did with my family earlier this year.  It was hard for Slugfly as he has no arms.  I had fun though.
Off to Wanganui we went to visit my nana and Grandad.  Slugfly was very excited to go swimming in their pond with the fish.  We stayed for a few nights and he slept on the mini bed that Nana and Grandad got for him for his Christmas present.
From here we visited Wellington and went to the Beehive to visit Jacinda and her bee friends.  She gave us bad news that we were now in Lockdown because one bee ate all of the honey and started stinging everyone with a terrible virus called COVID BEE.  I was so worried that we would get it so we secretly flew to Wanganui crossing the border with out getting caught.
2 years later we are still stuck in Lockdown at Nana and Grandads house, chilling by the pool/pond eating leaves and drinking tea.  Nana and Grandad stocked up the cupboards with food from Pak n Save so i think we’ll be fine for a while.  Mum and Dad were fine they didn't even miss us, i cant believe it.  What an adventure! The best Tiki tour EVER!
